Camp iCare at Schmid Elementary had a great day on Thursday. The morning began with a Camp iCare Olympics opening ceremony that demonstrated the importance of trust. .

In the classroom, the participants began to put the finishing touches on their Donor Boards, Olympics poster, and the Camp iCare website.

The guest speaker for the day was Mr. Nosa Equae and Mr. Pete. Mr. Nosa is a former football for Auburn University and Mr. Pete is a former basketball player for Indiana University. Both Mr. Nosa and Mr. Pete discussed the importance of trust in daily life. They both discussed the line: "I believe in my country, because it is the land of freedom and because it is my own home and that I can best serve my country by 'doing justly, loving mercy, and walking humbly with my God" in the Auburn Creed. Upon completion of the discussion, the Camp iCare participants played the game "Telephone." This game demonstrated trust through listening and relaying information to another person.
