Camp iCare continued its great week on Wednesday. The day began with the Camp iCare Olympics Opening Ceremony, which consisted of the 3 S's of Money: spend, save, and share.

In the classroom session, the Camp iCare participants discussed the 3 S's of Money. Each participant shared what they might spend their money on, specifically if it is a need vs. a want, what each participant will save their money for, and finally, who each participant will share their money with.

When the discussion concluded, the Camp iCare participants continued working on their projects, specifically, the Donor Boards and the spend, save, and share cans. The participants also began to finalize their Olympic posters.

After the time with the individual teams, Mr. Cole and Mrs. Lauren led a group discussion as Mr. and Mrs. Money. The session concluded with an activity that demonstrated ways to save money, such as: making a piggy bank instead of buying one and growing fruits and vegetables instead of purchasing from the store.

Once the lunch break concluded, Mr. Montravius and Ms. Alyse led a discussion on the Auburn Creed. Specifically, they talked about the lines "I believe in obedience to law because it protects the rights of all," as well as "I believe in the human touch, which cultivates sympathy with my fellow men and mutual helpfullness and brings happiness to all." This session ended with several team building activities for all of the Camp iCare participants.
